R V EV (and another)
Kelcey and Hall represented V in a widely publicised case concerning an 11 week old baby who suffered a fractured skull and rib injuries. This was a complex matter which took two years to come to trial. The co-defendant had blamed our client for causing the injuries to their baby and she further alleged that she was a victim of domestic violence perpetrated by our client. After a 3 week trial our client was found not guilty of all charges. The co-defendant was convicted of the serious assault offences concerning the baby.
