R v T
Following the entering of a guilty plea with regard to a large scale cannabis production the client received a suspended custodial term. In the subsequent Proceeds of Crime Act proceedings against the client, the firm was integral in reducing the amount to be paid by him by more than £425,000. This allowed the client to retain ownership of his home which otherwise would have been sold leaving him homeless and with no assets. The case was prepared by James Williams and Counsel instructed was Kannan Siva of Albion Chambers.
